We have relaxed our cancellation policy beginning March 20 and extending through May 15, 2020.
- Within that time frame, guests will be able to cancel their reservation with a full refund up to 24-hours before check-in.
- Many leaders in the short term rental industry have adopted such policies in order to drive guests to book reservations at a time that they may be most apprehensive to do so. With restrictions and state policies changing from moment to moment, our campers may be reluctant to book a trip and risk losing the cost of their reservation, should they become unable to travel to their destination.
- We want to give our campers the ability to book with confidence, without concerns that COVID-19 policies could end up costing them the price of booking, when these circumstances are out of their control. Relaxing our cancellation policy will alleviate those concerns and allow campers to feel comfortable planning a trip with minimal risk should their situation change. We feel sure that this temporary policy will serve both campers and CampKeepers as we learn how to navigate this business while the Coronavirus is on the forefront of so many thoughts and actions.
- It is essential to maintain clear and direct communication with upcoming campers so that you are not surprised by any last-minute cancellations.
