Tentrr + OTAs

Tentrr cross-lists our campsites on many Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), such as Airbnb, booking.com and Glamping Hub, to name a few. Our intention is to expose the Tentrr brand to travelers browsing these platforms who have not heard of Tentrr before, thereby extending our camper base and bringing more traffic to our sites! Here is some helpful information for our Hosts to understand exactly what is happening regarding OTAs:

• As of now these listings are manually updated by the Tentrr team, while we work hard at upgrading our integration to give our Hosts more control over their listings and transparency in their relationships with these OTAs. Please contact us if you have anything you need to update or correct on your listings. 
  • We do our best to keep on top of descriptions and photos, but if you find yourself adding a lot of new information to your site, please just let us know - we will make sure that these updates flow through to your OTA listings as well! 
• Tentrr is charged a commission in order to list our properties on these platforms, which is why you will see a difference in price on these listings.
  • We are also testing dynamic pricing on some of these sites, which adjusts nightly rates based on demand in your area, to ensure that we are competitive with other vacation rentals. This means that sometimes, your nightly rate will be lower on weekdays (sometimes it may even be lower than your nightly rate on Tentrr.com), and higher on the weekends - but your payout will always remain true to that which you have set on your Tentrr account profile.
• Offering "extras" at your site is a great way to earn extra income, and these can be listed on your OTA listings as well! If you update your extras, or don't see your current extras on your listings, please just let us know and we will correct this for you! 
• We know that communication is key when you're expecting guests! If you're ever having issues messaging a camper that booked through either Tentrr or an OTA, give us a call and we will help to connect you with your campers directly.
