The minimum requirements for the landowner are simply performing a walkthrough on the site to ensure nothing was damaged, left a mess, and is ready to go for the next stay. Once there is a proper cleaning, the site is ready and safe for the next camper.
Campers are instructed to take their garbage out as they exit and can be assessed a cleaning fee if they do not follow this policy.
Periodic campsite maintenance can vary depending on your location but may entail basic mowing, removal of falling debris from trees and treatment for any insects or critters who decide to move into the tent. The tents can be power washed and we've heard from several Hosts that Magic Erasers are great for the removal of any stains.
At the end of the season, you’ll want to close up the site and reopen it at the beginning of the next season. We will handle everything else! All financial transactions, scheduling of booking, even communications with the campers prior to their stay!
We also welcome creative Hosts who want to personalize the Tentrr experience. We have Hosts who add decorative touches like string lights or extras like bedding or a tree hammock but these customizations are 100% optional and not a requirement. Tentrr encourages communication between Hosts on best practices.
